Designed from scratch by AISTER and featuring two HamiltonJet waterjets, the new HS60 Interceptor is set to revolutionize the way coastal patrols maintain border security and control illegal activity.

Developed for the Maritime Service of the Spanish Guardia Civil, the vessel underwent comprehensive sea trials in Ria de Vigo and achieved outstanding results.

Comfortably exceeding 60 knots, the 18m-long aluminium craft  is undeniably quick, with two 1800hp MAN inboard engines powering the HamiltonJet waterjets.

Of course, it also had to be responsive. Combined with the vessel’s speed, the incredible manoeuvrability of the HS60 makes it the first of its kind in the world, representing a huge step forward in the evolution of interceptors.

Other key features include a 360° visibility exterior steering position, significant thermal and acoustic insulation, and ergonomic seats with anti-shock protection. The vessel, which was designed to accommodate four crew members, also boasts cabins and a kitchen for longer journeys.
